Kid-Friendly Easy Fall Apple (or Pear) Recipes

I love this time of year, don't you? What better way to celebrate fall than with some fall apple or pear harvest recipes. Here are 2 quick, easy, healthy, and fun fall recipes to make with your Kid in the Kitchen!

No Cook Applesauce or Pear Sauce


6 organic apples or pears

cinnamon, to taste

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup water


Peel and chop the apples or pears. Mix all ingredients in a blender. Eat immediately or refrigerate for a day or two.

Apple Cinnamon Crunch Overnight Oats

(Makes 1 serving)


1/2 cup oats (quick or old-fashioned, uncooked)

1/2 cup tolerated milk

1/2 cup diced apple or pear

1 teaspoon honey

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

1 Tablespoon granola (for topping)


Add oats to container of choice. Pour in milk and add in diced apple or pear.

Sweeten by topping with honey and cinnamon. Refrigerate overnight.

Stir and top with granola in the morning.
